Semi-Pelagian Parenting 101

ryc – I’m in CA. I’ve been looking at Fuller for graduate school…although I have awhile to go for that. I will look into that seminar, though. My best friend AND my brother live in CO, so maybe I can time it with a visit or something.

What a great community of wise moms…so much wisdom and honesty. I am encouraged and strengthened by posts like this. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the link! I’ve been convicted all week long by my own post… grace is so much harder than it sounds… :)

I found your site from a comment that you left on Greenbaggins2.

I will enjoy reading your blog & will pass it on to my wife as well.

* * The correct title for a critique of the Pearls would be Pelagian parenting 101. They disgust me!

Excellent link, TG. Thanks for the point in such a thoughtful direction.

In all humility, I would really like to talk to you live via some means to really understand what your points have meant on Britany’s Blog regarding the responsibility that parents have in raising their children, even outside of what the Pearls do or do not say. I really want to learn because the more I read of your post, the more confused I get on what your view or the theology you follow actually is.

Help???

Hey Alex…I have a question about this. Even though God’s grace is given while unmerited, the wonderful forgiveness that he gives us usually doesn’t impact the consequences of our actions.

Do you incorporate natural consequences as the result of bad behaviour in parenting your children or your thoughts on parenting? Just curious, and the pictures are beautiful, btw!
