Some great links there, I will check them all out when the children are sleeping!
You encouraged me with my first advent wreath, and now we are on year 3. I love this tradition. This year it really FEELS like a tradition. Everyone knew what to expect and did their part with relish. Yay!
Thanks so much for the links. We’ll start late but its better than never. Perhaps an epiphany ending.
I wonder if you might be interested in my Bible Reading Notes, covering the whole of Scripture http://www.christinallthescriptures.blogspot.com http://www.theologyofgcberkouwer.blogspot.com http://chascameron.spaces.live.com
Best Wishes.
Came to yours by searching for Advent. Thanks for all the nice links!
Your welcome over to see how we celebrate in Norway:-)
Thanks for sharing the links, Renny and Charles.
We’ve observed advent less or more through the years. This year I feel more “on” more able to do some of the special things that I connect with the holidays, more preparation of our hearts and home.
I remember making an advent wreath when I was in first or second grade. Our family had recently started walking with the Lord, and there was an advent wreath workshop at the base chapel that we attended. I don’t remember anything else about advent that year, but making the wreath is a strong memory.
