Sarasota Reds vs. Daytona Cubs
Posted by TulipGirl | Under Family Journal, Homeschooling, In the Sarasota Sun Thursday May 8, 2008We joined the other families in our homeschool baseball team for a game at Ed Smith Stadium tonight. Our team won, and our family had a fun. The whole atmosphere of the game was great; the cool fresh air, the excitement, the game announcer’s voice reverberating, the hot dogs. . . I remember my folks bringing us to a game in Racine when I was growing up. It was the same thing. Minor league games are are the best. (And the boys understood a lot more now that they’ve been playing baseball, compared to their first taste of the classic American sport.)

Great stuff! Beautiful evidence that philoprocreative culture and home schooling are blessed of God, even in the most mundane, simple, fun ways.
that pic of you behind your boys is terrific! i feel like i was there. they seem like they’re always having fun.
*grin* Thanks, Mol. . . It was fun. And as it seems like another move may be on the horizon, I want to make sure we enjoy the best of our city before we go.
I wish I had been sitting in one of those empty blue seats in the first picture.
Glad you had a great time. Nothing better than when your team wins.
Looks like FUN!
What great photos! Looks like a great time! You are right, a good minor league game is really much more fun in many ways.
