Hi gang…glad you are making it family event….I am watching and also checking Meghan McCain’s
blogette at the same time. She is so cute and enthusiastic ! mom
Watched the debate until Josh called for a ride home.
Listened to the debate until I picked up said son.
Then, well, what can I say, I didn’t have the heart to force the debate upon his adolescent ears so I put in the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Oh, IMHO, it was a tie, both candidates made some good points.
I want someone to Factcheck Sen. McCain’s closing statement: MCCAIN: Jim, when I came home from prison, I saw our veterans being very badly treated, and it made me sad. And I embarked on an effort to resolve the POW-MIA issue, which we did in a bipartisan fashion, and then I worked on normalization of relations between our two countries so that our veterans could come all the way home.
What did he do to resolve the POW and MIA issues?
Debate watching parties sound fun.
I know my hubs and I watched a little debate with the daughter last night. She pronounces Obama perfectly and calls McCain “Caimie”.
I felt like Obama kept on emphasizing how important it is for America to be regarded highly in other countries. I know it’s a good thing for that to happen, but we can’t please everyone, especially people like Hugo Chavez and the President of Iran.
I really thought the debate highlighted Obama’s naivete in dealing with foreign policy.
