Loved the Palin Speech
Posted by TulipGirl | Under Political Concerns Thursday Sep 4, 2008If you missed it. . . wow. . . It was fabulous.
The text is here – but you miss out on the strength and grace of the delivery.
The boys were applauding as much as the delegates at the convention.
Loved it.
We are not big TV watchers, but we sat through Guilliani (good speech, too) and then Palin. She was remarkable!
Oh, I meant to tell you that I am a recovering political junkie and her speech felt like a ‘fix’ to me. I thought about checking out Townhall this morning!
Here are two more who loved it. I think McC said it all when he asked at the end, “Do you think we made the right choice…?”
Even Hillary’s campaign manager had only praise for the speech and her delivery of it. The only negative he could state is that he does not support the policies therein. (We didn’t expect him to agree with the policies, did we?) =)
I must agree. My husband dragged me down to the family room to watch it, where I was promptly sucked in for the whole thing. Really, really great.
I can’t imagine any other candidate for Vice President that I could be more excited about.
She was a great choice. She did a great job. And she’ll be in my prayers.
It was awesome! I’m so excited about how great they’ll be for America. There’s a Facebook group for people who are committing to intercede in prayer for the election, esp. for the Palins and McCains. Search - Intercessory Prayer for Sarah Palin.
Thanks for the link; I missed it on TV. And now I know how to pronounce her name.
Thanks for sharing the link. Both Mel and I watched it last night. We only had bits and pieces of it before. Of course, being an Alaskan himself and both of us still having family there, we are very proud that this gem of a woman is from “home!”
I guess she puts a new face on feminism. Liberals must be so scared!
Glad y’all enjoyed it!
This year, I have a lot of friend IRL and online who are Obama supporters. It’s been interesting. Part of me has been timid about sharing my excitement about Palin. Believe it or not, I really don’t like to step on anyone’s toes!
But I am excited about her and do believe that, overall, McCain-Palin is a stronger ticket for the issues that our country faces right now.
