“Ah, we need to get them back to reading “real” books soon. . .”

They DEFINITELY will. I compare it to feeding them - they need a variety. Keeps the love alive. And minds need rest too, so the fun books are great. For example, N15 finished Atlas Shrugged and then read one of the HP books AGAIN.

I am so happy your children (and mine) LOVE books. That is the key to a GREAT education.

They do. . . (I got it on sale from CEP -- it's published by P&R.) The boys each got one of the books for Christmas. R10 had asked for more fantasy/adventure books and so we obliged!

Hubby saw this list and said, "Ah, we need to get them back to reading "real" books soon. . ." But they do. Most mornings when I get up, though, I find a couple of boys with their breakfast and blankets and a book.

Cool. I can't tell you how many times my two oldest read the HP books. Do the boys like the Binding of the Blade series? (I hadn't heard of it.)
