Thank you for your review of FWGIIP, TulipGirl. I have read your blog on occasion and I appreciate your candor and honesty concerning your parenting struggles. I think that I can use the wisdom VonVonderen gives in his book and combine it with my study of scripture to really give my parenting script an edit.
You hit on what really made an impact for me with JVV. . . I read the book after a certain period of Bible study, and living through some life-lessons on grace that the Lord was leading me through, and so what he wrote resonated with my study and experience. It isn’t a “perfect” book, but it does point people back to grace and the Gospel, which is what we need in our daily lives. Btw, congrats on winning the book from MbG! *grin*
