First Corinthians 12?

Which Part Of The Body Are You?

Congratulations! You are the belly button. You easily become the center of attention while you are young but as you mature you fade into the background.

Now that you know your place in the body: go and serve!

You might be surprised to know that I Cor. 12 is the epistle lesson for the Revised Common Lectionary tomorrow. It's one of the passages from which I'll be preaching, so thanks for the quick sermon illustration! :)

I'm a thumb? A thumb! :-(

Well, on second thought I guess that's pretty good. Thumbs are fairly important after all - if we didn't have thumbs we'd still be monkeys.

;-)

Alexandra, I did not know you started a BLOG!! I will add a link to my sidebar. I will be happy to send you the book The Midwife via the post, if you decide you want to read it. Email me and let me know! I would love to mail something to you there in Ukraine!

I am planning on writing a bit later about the character of the protagonist, Hannah. I can't say I really like or admire her as a person, despite agreeing with her philosophy on gentle birth.

Now I'm going to catch up on your blog entries I missed!!

I'm the left ventricle. I'm thinking this quiz is MUCH too specific.

Yeah, this quiz is veeery tongue-in-cheek. *g*

Samantha, I just started recently. My hubby gave me my very own URL for Christmas (how romantic!) I've wanted to update my website for ages, and after working on that realized that it would be wiser to re-work in from scratch using MT and CSS. I'm very touched that you want to send that book to me--but like I said, just reading your review has me emotional about it. I'm looking forward to reading more of your thoughts on it, and Hannah.

Hi, FP! Your blog looks so classy, and the images you choose are so striking. I'm glad it's in Persian AND English--my Persian is worse than my Russian. *g*
