My boys love when I read that poem to them!

We have several volucmes of poetry for children, and I enjoy reading and reciting poems with the boys. My Mom would always recite R. L. Stevenson's "The Swing" to me when she'd push me at the playground. It's a very magical memory for me. I really desire to incorporate verse into our daily routines.

Jabberwocky here. although i retook the test and was a Plath... Hmmm. I try very hard to remember the words to "the swing" when T and I are at the park.. Usually fail miserably after "oh how i love to go up in the air, up in the air so high." Have made up some of my own verses, but even those slip my memory. *sigh* i'm feelin old!
