Thursday Thankfuls

I really forward to the "Thankful Thursday Three" each week. Since BadgerMum is AFK with company and busy family things, I'm going to just have to post mine here, instead of in her comments.

Today I'm thankful for:

1. That our hot water is back on, after the annual two weeks off for maintanence. Hooray for hot showers!

2. That the most crazy part of summer is over (though we still have a short-term mission group coming in a few weeks from Texas.)

3. That I have a husband that dwells with me in understanding, even when I'm crying over silly things.

Well, if one of those "silly things" was the absence of hot water, I'd be crying right alongside of you! (Not to mention the screaming.)

I'm thankful for Chick-Fil-A, bouncy seats that vibrate, and moving into a place of our own on Saturday (bonus - I am also thankful for friends that let us stay with them).

That's great, Samantha! My friend Penny has twins who are R5's age, and her daughter has autism. I remember the day A asked for juice verbally--it was so exciting! I really hear your joy in how Ethan is verbalizing his requests.

It gets better. We almost kind of had a conversation this morning. Ethan looked at me and shouted, "I did it!" (That's a line from the latest Veggie Tales video.) I asked, "What did you do?" He cocked his head to the side, smiled and said shyly, "I don't know." =)
