So what exactly is the "trampoline" sport, and why did I never get to play it? Sounds like fun.

Oh, my gosh. I love the trampoline. It's my favorite thing in the olympics now. Think gymnastics type tumbling, only in the air. There's a lot to think about and it looks really hard, yet really fun. You have to maintain height in your jumps, you have to stay within a box printed on the trampoline. You have to complete a certain amount of moves. It's pretty impressive, and I think has a significant amount of danger involved.

And best of all (for us vaguely nationalistic types), two of the medals (judo and one of the boat-type things - sorry for imprecision, heard it on the radio while half-asleep) came from last-minute defeats of the Poles.
"Jeszcze Polska nie zginela, ale zginac musi/Jeszcze Polak Ukraincom bedzie czyscic buty"
That's a play on the national anthems of both countries, both of which begin on the optimistic note "(Insert country name) has not yet perished." In this case: "Poland has not yet perished, but it must/one day the Poles will polish the Ukrainians' shoes."
There's also "Poland has not perished yet, but it's beginning to smell a bit..."
