CSS Changes Ahead

No, you are not seeing things. Yes, this blog is orange.

And I keep misreading the CSS, so no telling what you'll see here before I finally figure it out. Thankfully, MovableStyle has helped keep me out of too much trouble.

It's amazing how "orange" everything seems in the pictures on Yahoo. I'm glad you've gone orange, too!

Someone should come up with some orange-based logo that other bloggers 'round the world could pick up and use on their web sites, like those ribbons, etc one often sees. I bet folks would pick it up and it would keep things Ukrainian in the thoughts of readers.

I have been watching the Ukrainian elections on TV thanks to reading your blog (before I did not pay attention). A story came on the news last night and I interrupted dh to insist he watch too :-) Great new look!

Tulip Girl, I'm ignorant on web stuff, but if you think it is a good idea make an appeal on your page and maybe someone out there who does know how can do it. It could be based on that orange "Tak" sign Yushchenko uses, but I think it would have to have an english slogan or the word Ukraine in it so that people know what it means.
Or, maybe sympathetic bloggers can be asked to incorporate orange into their blog pages for the while.

Don, yes, I really do live in Kyiv. Have for three years--three years tomorrow, in fact. I love living here, especially now. Some days I get frustrated or complain. But this is our home.
