Wow, wow, wow!
We have a place to settle down and live in Sarasota! I'm so completely tickled and excited. And it's more than I could ever ask or imagine. Really. Wow!

That's great. I'll settle down vicariously through you... We're moving from our current 2 month temporary situation to another temporary situation for 2 more months. Then we can move to our own place. Not complaining, though. Thankful we have places to go.

I just wanted to write and thank you so much for your blog. Congrats on settling back down in America. I'm very happy for you. I am moving back to America (from Kyiv also) on June 1. Reading about your life here and your move has been very encouraging for me. I am looking forward to reading more about your adjustment back into American life. I thank you and your husband for your writing and honesty!

Where's church for you these days? Our next neighbor's son is the youth pastor at Covenant Life Presbyterian, a PCA church there.

Thank you for sharing in my joy and excitement. I have some fun stories to share from our day today doing some moving. Later. . . If I'm not too tired and don't forget. (Right now I'm on the verge of both. . .)
Dorothy, I'm really glad that our blogs have been helpful for you. Megan (who commented on this post, too) was going through moving right as we were, and it really helped me to have a "moving buddy." I'm really thankful for our minivan, and my-oh-my, life is so much easier with a car! I'm sure you'll have ups and downs with readjustment. It will really help if your family/close friends who you will be with initially when you return to the States are just loving and accepting and let you be who you are and where you are emotionally, as you are in transition.

Rev. Mike,
Covenant Life is about 3 minutes from where we are right now (but not near where we'll be living.) We haven't been back there yet, but I know we will be. *grin* They've been very encouraging to us through the years. Our home church is Christ the King in Clearwater, but the closest PCA church to our new house is Cornerstone PCA.
