Yellow Skies

Before you kill me honey, recognize
I'm your one-way rumblin' ride through yellow skies
I'm your sunshine truckin' man
I'm doin' everything I can to realize
The yellow skies

(I wanna go with you to heaven
I wanna drink you like a flower drinks rain
I wanna float you like a feather)

Were you crying in the kitchen
Did you paint the four walls blue
Was it something I said
Something that I did to you
Sometimes love is really sad
But you don't have to feel so bad all day
We can ride away

Let's go outside, open up our eyes
And exchange this cloudy room for yellow sky
I'm your sunshine truckin' man
I'm doin' everything I can to realize
The yellow skies

Saucers in the kitchen
Flyin' like U.F.O.s
It's a mystical experience
Mama never told me so
Sometimes love can twist your head
But you don't have to wish me dead today
Close your eyes and pray

Before you kill me Angel, recognize
I'm your one-way rumblin' ride through yellow skies
I'm your sunshine truckin' man
I'm doin' everything I can to realize
To realize
Open up our eyes
To the yellow
To the yellow

I'm glad to see you're back. I hope you're fully recovered from your car accident.

I just now read a comment you left me awhile back. I feel bad for not responding to it because it had so many good thoughts. Anyway, I thought I had my comments turned off...but I was apparently the only one not seeing them. Strange.

I'm really glad you guys weren't hurt in your accident. God is good.

I like that "sunshine truckin' man"...:)

Reid, have you heard O How The Mighty Have Fallen yet? I keep opening the window to order it, but then closing it before finding my credit card. . .

One of these days, I'll have to tell you my Greedy Little Monkey story. . . Remind me, if I forget. . .
