Small world, indeed. I know Read's mother, too! Wonderful woman.

And the Schuchardt's were part of our community (www.villagechurchnyc.com) for all their ten years in NYC. We miss them terribly!

*L* Maybe not such a small world! I clicked on a link from a link from your blog, Scot (and then couldn't find it again. . .) And I think I read your blog because you commented over at ChewyMom's?

And between the photos and the news article, I figured the conversation and interaction would be enlivening, if we could have them over for dinner.

(And I'd make Tex-Mex. If the Alps are anything like Eastern Europe, tortillas and such are in short supply. . . *g*)
