The Future's Open Wide

Dream of better lives the kind which never hate
dropped in the state of imaginary grace
I made a pilgrimage to save this humans race
What I'm comprehending a race that long gone by

I'll stop the world
I'll stop the world and melt with you
I'll stop the world
You've seen the difference and it's getting better all the time
Let's stop the world
There's nothing you and I won't do
Let's stop the world
I'll stop the world and melt with you

Funny, when my wife (then girlfriend) and I danced to this at the prom in '86 we just thought it had a cool beat. Who knew it was spiritually significant.

PS - it was one of the first songs I downloaded when I installed iTunes earlier this year. ;-)
