A Psalm of Thanksgiving

Psalm 100

A Psalm for giving thanks.

1Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
2Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

3Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;[a]
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

I just love Psalm 100. I use it frequently in my morning devotions.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your boys, the big one and the little ones.

Thanks for the Psalm. I was inspired by your frequent quoting of scripture on your blog to do the same for Thanksgiving Day at "7R", with the signature color coding, of course. Yes, I know that it is sometimes hard to read, but that's the point: Haven't you ever heard of the "invisible church"?

I chose Psalm 107, because of all the different kinds and groups of people that are called to give thanks to the Lord.

Happy Thanksgiving!
