So I've Sold Out. . .

Yes, those are blog ads in the right column. Yes, I want you to click on them. Still working on formatting and finding the most appropriate ads.

I've gone mainstream. Bowing to the pressure of materialism. Supporting consumerism. Sold out. Left behind my purist blogging ways. And sure do appreciate your click-throughs. *grin*

(Oooh, hey--just saw an ad for cajun gumbo. Yumm!)

NOW you've really and truly come home from Ukraine. You're American...again.

I'm still resisting for now, but who knows how long I can hold out now that the Jollyblogger, Dignan's 75 Year Plan AND Tulip Girl have all succumbed to the Siren song of ads.

You know, you still make money for "kalsey-20" every time one of your readers clicks on your book lists and buys from Amazon. If your book links ended in "tulipgirl-20" you'd be the one making money, not "kalsey-20". (Assuming you get an Amazon Associate account as Tulip Girl.)

Boohoo. Another idol falls. :-)

Do you get money for clicks or just purchases?

Hmmm, Glenn. . . I've tried to replace it with Hubby's amazon account, but doesn't seem to be updating.

Kristen, yup--clicks.

Julana, I know, I know. Sold out to commercialism. Honestly, though, if this can help offset hosting fees and dsl, it will be a big blessing for us.

Blogads.com - you get paid for ads placed on your site, click thru or not. The down side is you need a sponser and I'm all out. :(

So far, I have made enough to pay for hosting.

Ah ha!
I was wondering why I was seeing those ads on your website.
