I remember this girl! I saw them at the Musee D'Orsay. I loved that museum. Actually, the ticket stub that I have from my visit has this little girl on it, so I've rememembered her well. Thanks for the memory!

I loved that museum, too. *Grin* In fact, that's why I chose her. We read this book to the boys before we visited.

Btw, your FAQ page on your blog is very, very informative. *grin* Do you know in which suburb you'll be living?

Oh, that is absolutely one of my favorite sculptures. I havea poster of one of Degas' ballerina paintings in my classroom...and the Musee D'Orsay is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite museums in the world, possibly next to the Tate Britian. I've been to both three times.

Thanks for posting this. I may need to start a Fine Art Friday posting myself...

Thank you for posting the Degas! It's loveliness is really overwhelming.

I'm so delighted with Fine Art Fridays - it will be a wonderful enrichment.
