The up-close details of the sun and the elephant eating peanuts from the tree and the girl reading on his back, on the checkered blanket--those are what keep drawing my attention.

This picture feels like a visual comfort corner.

Hi Tulip Girl,

I just recently found your site and had to comment on the art work.

Yesterday I took my daughters (6 and 3) to our local zoo. There is a wounded crow there that will say "hello" if he's in the right mood. We caught him at the right time yesterday because he said, "hello" to both my girls repeatedly. They were thrilled and I savored their delight in such a simple pleasure.

So, of course, the crow above is saying, "hello".
