Enjoying School
A glass of merlot, a lit candle, music playing, children gathered round and the blue glow of the monitor. Ahhh, this is the way to do school work. Homeschooling or college work. I'm enjoying my music class.

Oh! Music class? did I miss something?
What music class? Spill all. Are you taking Music Apprec? You know I taught that once, back in my brief year as a pregnant PhD student adjunct.
I want to know all about yr class!!

Kewl! Sorry, I just came across this blog for the first time. Your blog is really wonderful! Plus, you're Reformed like me. Wow. Well, just saying hi. Keep it up.

Hmm...is this what I have to look forward to in homeschooling days?
Posted by: Heather at January 17, 2007 10:23 PM
Bring it.
I'm a White Zinfindel girl myself, but usually only with dinner. Does chocolate go with merlot? If so, sign me up!
Yep, Jeannette, it's basically music appreciation, though they call it "Issues in Music" and it somehow also fulfills the multi-culti exit requirement. It's online, but requires live concerts (woohoo! date night!)
Gid, Hubby has been my biggest cheerleader in taking a class this semester. It seems like our whole family is school-oriented these days, with homeschooling, Hubby in school full-time, and now me. Oh, and my Mom is back in school, too. *grin*
Hi, Ndidi! Nice to meet you!
And yes, Heather and Kristen, homeschooling has a lot of perks. *wink*

Hi, long time, no communication.
I want to encourage you in your education. I am a fulltime student and I'm taking (gulp) five classes and a lab this semester.
You can do it!!!!!

As for the music, I was a music major once...ahhh the recitals... I have to say, Lizst, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, & Debussy are all time favorites. What about You? Maybe you could start a blogging thread on you & your fans faves.
Just to let u guys know, we are starting our Ukraine process & are working w/ our recruiter who is also our good friend, Debbie.
Love to the Bohemians!
