Just today I said to Sophia as she was climbing the walls in a McDonald's restaurant, "Someday you may get to climb Mt Everest but not today." As I said it I thought that at one time in history such a thing would be totally absurd, a woman climbing the tallest mountain in the world. Now she could very well climb the thing if she really wants to some day and no one would think anything of it.

That is hilarious...kind of...I've actually been treated like that by a group of men when my DH was in seminary. Long story. I'll probably have to blog it.

That was absolutely hilarious! Laugh out-loud brilliant. Thanks for sharing the link. I think I might have to put it on my blog as well.

Hey, No problem... It'd be great to talk about the 'kraine. I am really flexible during the week, so whenever works for you/yall is good for me. Or we could talk Sunday night. I work on Saturdays.

Thanks!
You can email me & I'll give u the #.

Ugh, Chewy! Honestly, I've been so thankful for the respect I've felt towards women in the churches we've been in the past several years (PCA, OPC, CBI. . .) And I keep watching that clip for laughs. Though I know there are some out there who really do have that attitude.

Samantha, I always felt encouraged by my parents that I could do anything--I just couldn't do everything. It's led to being very optimistic about life and opportunities.
