Wow! This is truly disturbing. I cannot imagine what that must have felt like and what that must have looked like as he came to that part of the ocean. It inspires me to do my part. Every little bit that I can do is just a little bit better for the environment.

Isn't that awful? I first saw that article a month or two ago and was so disturbed. I remember I used to think those enviro-nuts were, well... nutty for saying things about the ocean being full of trash. I used to think it was too big to be affected by our actions.

Someone needs to tell a company called Global Resource Company about this. They recently invented an industrial microwave that will turn plastic back into something very close to crude oil, and I'm sure they would be glad to know of all that "free" readily-available raw material. It's a win-win scenario: cleaner oceans and reclaimed energy.
