The Girls

"The Girls" were my boys' best friends in Ukraine. They are visiting the States for a little while and were recently at Heather's church. I hope they come to Florida! One of the hardest things about the choices we've made in our lives is how far away so many people are, people who are very dear to us. Email and internet help, but aren't the same.

I perused your book list, and have to say I haven't heard of most of the titles. How do you find your reading material?

*grin* Glad you figured out where I was "from." I forgot to mention that when I commented. . . I like visiting friends-of-friends-of-friends online. Such a small world, you know?

The books I have on that list are a combo of my Amazon wishlist (which are mostly books that caught my eye and I want to remember because I might be interested in reading them one day) and books which I am actually reading. The books I'm reading are either recommended by friends, part of school reading (ack! back in school), brain candy, or books I've known and are rereading (like the Calvin Miller trilogy.)

Most books that make the Amazon list or reading list are really recommendations from others. I especially like getting ideas from Kristen, Megan, Rebecca, Camille, and others. . .
